Permanent register of voters
A regularly updated database of eligible voters (rather than a list of eligible voters collected through door-to-door enumeration). A permanent register contains a voter’s name, address, and birth information. It may contain a unique identification number for each voter. Saskatchewan does not currently have a permanent register of voters, however new provincial legislation was passed in May 2014 calling for the establishment of a permanent register of voters.
