November 7, 2020, 5 p.m. The Final Count of ballots for Saskatchewan’s 29th General Election has been taking place today in returning offices across the province.

All vote by mail ballots have now been counted. In total, 61,255 vote by mail ballot packages were mailed out to voters, and 56,547 were returned and counted as part of the Final Count.

While counting of all vote by mail ballots is complete, counting of special ballots (including hospital, remand and temporarily displaced votes (HRT), absentee votes cast in returning offices and extraordinary voting ballots) will continue this evening. Extraordinary ballots are counted centrally while HRT and absentee votes are being counted in 61 returning offices across the province.
