On Monday, August 24, 2009, pursuant to an Order of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, a Writ of Election was issued by the Chief Electoral Officer to Roxanne Scott, constituency Returning Officer. The Writ ordered that the by-election be held on Monday, September 21, 2009.
