August 30, 2017 – Advance voting in the constituency of Saskatoon Fairview by-election begins at 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 31.

There are three advance polls in one location at Confederation Mall open to all eligible voters in Saskatoon Fairview. Advance voting days and times:

Thursday, August 31, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Friday, September 1, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday, September 2, Noon to 7 p.m.

Sunday, September 3, Noon to 7 p.m.

Tuesday, September 5, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

There is no voting on Labour Day (September 4)

 

Three important reminders for advance voting:

  1. Remember to bring your ID to vote
  2. Bring along your Voter Information Card (VIC)
  3. Avoid the usual busy times – avoid the times that are traditionally the busiest on advance voting days, including when the polls first open and over the supper hour.

In the 2016 general election, 2000 votes were cast in advance voting in Saskatoon Fairview, a significant increase from the 906 votes cast in Saskatoon Fairview in the 2011 general election. More information for media including past voter turnout from Saskatoon Fairview is available here.
