Chief Electoral Officer (CEO)
A selection panel, reporting to the all party Board of Internal Economy of the Legislative Assembly, is now considering applications for the position of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), an independent statutory officer of the legislature.
The primary responsibilities of the CEO are to maintain a state of provincial election readiness, to ensure compliance with the Election Act and other related legislation, and to ensure effective execution of electoral events. The CEO will also have the opportunity to build a legacy of significant impact within the Province of Saskatchewan through leadership of a change management process that will modernize Elections Saskatchewan’s operational systems and administrative structures.
As the ideal candidate, you will have experience and demonstrated success as a leader of people and for organizations. The CEO will be flexible in response to change and will lead the visioning, strategic planning, financial and personnel management for all aspects of Elections Saskatchewan. The professional and personal credibility earned through the career achievements of the successful candidate will be integral in maintaining public confidence in the independence of the office and integrity of its activities.
